A brief history:

• 1946: Federal Foam Technologies™ is founded as a custom fabricator of urethane foam products servicing the bedding and furniture industries.
• 1999: Federal Foam Technologies™ enlists the assistance of chiropractors for research and development of a foam mattress. FFT uses the latest in foam technology, combining high-quality visco-elastic memory foam with other foam materials to create a mattress available to chiropractors for their patients.
• 2000: Chiropractic Impressions – Body Responsive Sleep Systems™ mattresses and pillows are recommended by chiropractors nationwide.
• 2005: Body Responsive Sleep Systems™ mattresses meet the requirements of the new California Bureau of Home Furnishings Technical Bulletin 603. TB 603 is the nation’s first standard requiring that mattresses sold to consumers must be open flame resistant.
• 2005: Federal Foam Technologies™ conducts nationwide market research with chiropractors and their patients resulting in an extended product line of mattresses and pillows. Chiropractic Impressions is dropped from the name and a new brand, Body Responsive Sleep Systems™ is launched.
